Here's A Little Glimpse Into My Life!
My name is Hannah Preissler. I was born and raised in Giltner, Nebraska and I am currently living in Columbus, Ohio. (Nebraska friends don’t worry, I will be spending the summer of 2025 in Nebraska photographing all of my clients’ lovely events!)
In May of 2024, I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Journalism. I majored in Sports Media and Communication and was a pole vaulter on the track and field team. I will forever cherish my time at Nebraska and all the opportunities I was given during my four years in college.
Since moving to Columbus, I’ve started working as a barista at Crimson Cup, where I make coffee and chat with customers every day—a combination I love!
In my free time, you’ll often find me sipping coffee (of course!), reading a good book, spending time outdoors, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. My dream is to one day open a photography studio with my own coffee shop next door in the same building.
Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I first picked up a camera around the age of eight, mostly capturing nature and animals. In 2010, my mom and I went on a photo safari through Yellowstone, an experience that deepened my love for photography, especially landscape shots. There was something so peaceful about wandering with a camera, taking in and capturing the beauty of God’s creation. Over the last couple of years, I found myself drawn to portraits, discovering the joy of capturing people’s unique personalities and stories.
My Life In Photos

My Why
I love how photographs freeze a moment in time! Everyone has milestones in their lives that are worth celebrating and I want to be there to cheer you on through all of those moments. Being a photographer allows me to challenge myself creatively in sessions to create unique galleries for each of my clients. My hope is to create images that hold memories that you will cherish for a lifetime.
